It started with a mama who had a mission

Our founder, Rachel, started Little Breaks with her little one by her side and a big mission in mind—to make a meaningful change in the childcare industry.

“As a mother, I faced the same challenges so many parents do. I struggled to find reliable, safe, and flexible care for my daughter. After many disappointing experiences with nannies and babysitters, I made the tough decision to leave my corporate career and become a stay-at-home mom until my daughter was old enough for preschool. But even in this role, I realized how much I still needed flexible childcare—to manage appointments, work, enjoy a night out, or even have a moment for myself. After hearing from other parents who were dealing with the same frustrations, I knew there had to be a better solution. That’s when the idea for Little Breaks was born.”

Rachel’s mission? To provide parents with the flexible, safe, and nurturing care she wished she had for her daughter. At Little Breaks, we offer a solution that supports both parents and kids, giving you peace of mind while your little ones learn and play.
