Looking for Lead Camp Teacher

 

Little Breaks is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Lead Camp Teacher to lead our children’s camps! This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, can confidently lead a group, and brings positive, calm energy into a play-based learning environment.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise daily camp activities for young children

  • Plan and guide age-appropriate games, crafts, and play experiences

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment

  • Manage camp flow and transitions with confidence

  • Communicate clearly with parents and staff

  • Model kindness, patience, and leadership at all times

 

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children (teaching, camps, childcare, or similar)

  • Strong leadership and classroom/group management skills

  • Energetic, dependable, and organized

  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Schedule:
  • 10 Weeks of Summer Camps - Must be able to work 5 of them (camp runs from first week of June to first week of August)

  • 8:30am-1:30pm availability required

 

Perks:
  • Pay $20-25 per hour based on experience

  • Contract position (1099 form)

Looking for Camp Assistant

 

Little Breaks is looking for a caring, energetic Camp Assistant to support our Lead Camp Teacher during children’s camps. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with young children, thrives in a team setting, and loves creating a fun, safe environment.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Camp Teacher with daily camp activities

  • Assist with games, crafts, and play-based activities

  • Help supervise children and maintain safety at all times

  • Set up, clean up, and help keep the space tidy throughout the day

  • Assist with transitions (snack time, free play, activities, pickup)

  • Model kindness, patience, and positive behavior

 

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children preferred (camp, childcare, babysitting, teaching assistant, etc.)

  • Friendly, dependable, and attentive

  • Takes initiative - knows their responsibilities and does them without needing to be told

  • Able to take direction and work well as part of a team

  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus

  • Comfortable being active and engaging with young children

 

Schedule:
  • Seasonal camps (school breaks, summer, etc.)

  • Weekday daytime availability required

 

Perks:
  • Pay $12-15 per hour based on experience

  • Contract position (1099 form)

  • Consistent hours during camp sessions

  • Great experience for high schoolers or college students

Looking for Party Support Coordinator

 

Little Breaks is looking for a reliable, organized Birthday Party Support Coordinator to help weekend birthday parties run smoothly from start to finish. This role focuses on customer relations, setup, and reset.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Set up any add-ons before reservation time

  • Help parties get started on time (welcome family, review timing, answer questions)

  • Light setup assistance if needed (tables, basic prep)

  • Check in with the booking parent during the party to ensure needs are met

  • Monitor guests to ensure safety and respect of the space

  • Monitor party timing and assist with smooth transitions

  • Help close out parties on time and professionally

  • Clean and reset the space between parties

     

This role is not:
  • Leading games or entertainment

  • Acting as a party host or instructor

  • Supervising children beyond general presence

     

Qualifications:
  • Organized, punctual, self-starter and dependable

  • Comfortable communicating with parents

  • Able to follow systems and timelines

  • Event, hospitality, or childcare experience a plus

  • CPR/First Aid a plus (or willingness to obtain)

     

Schedule:
  • Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)

  • Minimum of 4 hours per shift

  • Shifts aligned with party schedule

  • Flexible hours
